With only 16 years old Rolf started his glassblwoing education working with laboratory supply while simultaniously starting with glass art.
1985-2000
Wertheimer Glaskunst GmbH
Probably the biggest impact on German Glassart in the 80´s and 90´s, the value Wertheimer Glaskunst GmbH provided for a new era of glass art in Germany is unmathced. They created art , which quickly became known nationwide. Countless national and international exhibitions that reached as far as Japan also contributed to the influence of Wertheim glass art.
2000-2011
Magic Glass Gmbh
With Magic Glas GmbH, Rolf founded the future market leader for glass smoking devices. He revolutionized the market and Magic Glass became known for the highest quality glass smoking devices in the world.
2011-today
Exhibitions and Glassblowing Demonstrations.
Getting older Rolf wanted to go back to his roots and create Glass art and inspire people for the field of glassblowing. Glass art does not only have to be accessible to expensive art collectors. Thats why Rolf is now hosting Glassblowing demonstrations on River Cruise Ships in Germany and selling small glassart items.
